Training & certificates

The training behind the hands.

Anyone can call themselves a massage therapist. What separates a studio you can trust is documented, continuing education, and the willingness to show it. These are the qualifications our specialists hold.

01 · Why this page exists

Because you are trusting us with your body.

Massage is one of the few services where you are asked to undress, lie down and let a stranger apply pressure to you. The least we can do is show our work.

01

Technique is not intuition

Lymphatic drainage, buccal work and manual therapy each follow a defined method. Applied without training they are ineffective at best. Certification is evidence the method was actually taught.

02

Safety depends on knowing limits

Knowing when not to work on an area matters as much as knowing how. Training covers contraindications: thrombosis, recent surgery, pregnancy, skin conditions and more.

03

Skill has to be maintained

Our specialists keep training as techniques develop. This page changes as they add qualifications, rather than resting on a certificate earned years ago.

03 · What it means for your session

Paper is only useful if you feel it in the room.

Here is how the training shows up in an ordinary visit, in the things you can actually notice.

01We ask about your health before we begin, and we ask again on every visit, because the training says to. If something you tell us rules out a technique, we will say so and offer another.
02You are asked what you want from the session, not told what you are getting. The specialist chooses the method afterwards, which is only possible if they know several.
03Pressure is agreed before and checked during. A trained specialist adjusts without losing the structure of the treatment.
04You are told what to expect afterwards when it is relevant, for example the temporary tenderness that deeper or cupping work can leave. Surprises are a sign nobody explained the method.
05If a technique is not right for you, we say so and we do not sell it to you. Declining work is part of the training too.

Want to know who would be working with you?

Tell us what you need and we will tell you which specialist fits, what they are trained in, and why. Ask before you book, not after.
